Michael Gough wurde am 23.11.1917 in Malaysia geboren. Er begann seine Schauspielkarriere bereits im Jahr 1947 und wirkte in mehr als 170 Film- und Fernsehproduktionen mit. Dabei spielte er bereits früh in zahlreichen Thrillern und Horrorfilmen, wie "Dracula" (1958), "Das schwarze Museum" (1959), " Das Phantom der Oper" (1962), "Teufelsbrut - Sklaven des Satans" (1976) und "Die schwarze Mamba" (1981) mit Klaus Kinski. Zuletzt stand er für Tim Burtons "Sleepy Hollow" vor der Kamera und übernahm letztes Jahr eine Sprechrolle in "Alice im Wunderland". 1985 spielte Michael Gough neben Gert Fröbe in der 13-teiligen Fernsehserie "Der kleine Vampir" die Rolle des Onkel Theodor.

Michael Gough verstarb am 17. März 2011 in England im Alter von 94 Jahren.

Freiheit bedeutet den Vampiren alles - was immer auch passieren sollte.
